The scripture passage found in the Gospel of Matthew chapter 22, verses 37-40, describes the heartbeat of Victory Church and reflects our mission of “Loving God and Loving People.” The Care Ministry Team desires to demonstrate God’s love to those who find themselves in need of care or encouragement. Our team members desire to help you grow in your Christian faith by offering services to assist with your physical, spiritual and emotional needs.
Encouragement
Victory Church would love to hear your story, share prayer and God’s Word with you, and help you take steps towards freedom found through a relationship with Jesus. The Care Team members are comprised of trained volunteers from the church who will listen with compassion and understanding, pray with you and encourage you in the Christian faith.
Biblical Guidance
The Care Team can offer support, strength and care if you’re going through a challenging season of life. We are not professional counselors, but we can refer you to counselors that we recommend. We are brothers and sisters in Christ who can share biblical principals and insight to help you grow closer to the Lord and receive His freedom and wholeness even in the midst of hard seasons.
Hospital Care
The Care Team can bring God’s love into hospital rooms and rehabilitation facilities for patients, by providing prayer, encouragement and sharing the Lord’s Communion. This service is available for those who call Victory their church, or for members of their family who request a visit. Currently in response to Covid-19 guidelines and hospital rules, we are not able to physically visit at this time. When it is an option for the patient, we can accommodate a Facetime or phone call with a patient.
